AFCON U20: Nigeria's Agbalaka Makes CAF Best XI At Group Stage

Solomon Agbalaka was the only Flying Eagles Player included in the Best Eleven squad of the Caf group stage matches.

Recall Agbalaka won two consecutive Man of the Match awards for his brilliant displays in the group games.

He was voted Flying Eagles best player when Nigeria beat host nation Egypt 1-0 in the second group game.

Solomon Agbalaka picked up his second Man of the Match award at the 2023 U-20 AFCON, after helping the Flying Eagles beat Mozambique 2-0 in their final Group A game.

Following the conclusion of the thrilling group stage of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2023 in Egypt, the Technical Study Group (TSG) released their Best XI.

At left-back is one of the best performers of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2023, Solomon Agbalaka of Nigeria.

The powerful full-back is a modern defender and he has influence in either box with his aerial ability.

Solomon scored the all important goal for Nigeria in a 1-0 victory over Egypt.
