There was no stopping the Ladan Bosso led Flying Eagles as the team defeated Mozambique to ease their passage to the knockout stage of the ongoing AFCON U20 tournament in Egypt.
Goals from Samson Lawal and Ibrahim Mohammad were enough to send the deflated Mozambique lads packing from the tournament.
After narrowly losing the opening day fixture against Senegal, Flying Eagles restored hope with a slim victory over host nation Egypt in the game two and another victory against Mozambique sailed the Nigerian side to the last quarter finals.
A win for Nigeria in the last eight means an automatic ticket for the world cup as the continent will produce four nations for the junior world cup.
