Ahead Of FIBA World Cup Qualifiers: NBBF Sent 12 Players Packing From D'tigers Camp

D'tigers coaches have been plotting how to navigate the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers route and recently reduced the numbers of playing personnel on the team's roster.

The head coach of the team, Ogo Dauda has released the final team list for the last qualifying window in Angola.

Ogo Daudu, selected the best 12 players while also reducing the already crowded roster by sending 12 packing.

Nigeria, currently ranked 4th in their group, will play Ivory Coast, Guinea and Angola in the qualifying tournament scheduled between February 24 and 26 in Luanda.

The top two teams from groups E and F plus the best third placed nation will qualify to fly Africa’s flag in the 2023 FIBA world cup in Indonesia, Japan and Philippines.

Japan Invitational Tournament: Future Eagles to reopen camp in Abuja with 25 players The Future Eagles will resume camping in Abuja on Friday (19/05/2023) ahead of the Dream Cup invitational tournament in Japan. Coach Haruna Ilerika has already extended invitations to 25 players ahead of the tournament. All the invited players have been told to report at the Serob Hotel, Abuja.
