Ex-Olympian Enefiok Udo-Obong described the suspension of Divine Oduduru by the Athletics Integrity Unit as an unfortunate incident.
"It was so sad when I heard it and very unfortunate news"
He stated further that Divine Oduduru has been under investigation with AIU for a while and they have enough evidence to suspend him.
"He was charged with breach of doping rules and I think they have a enough evidence against him".
Udo-Obong who inspired the country’s 4×400 relay team to a first ever gold medal in relay at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games said the athletes caught for cheating should blame themselves.
"Athletes know the consequences of taking illicit drugs so they should take the blame all alone".
