Barr, Seyi Akinwunmi Believes The Growth Of Nigeria Football Depend On Nation's Development

The Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association and the immediate past 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi says he believes the growth of football in Nigeria is dependent on the nation as a whole.

"Everything in Nigeria is the same, our passport system, our light, our oil productivity, everything is part of the structure called Nigeria".

The strong man of Lagos football categorically stated that there is a need to fix the country for a better and rewarding future.

"We need to fix Nigeria first, I am not making excuses but the issue is that we are working within a sphere"

Akinwunmi said that he would continue to support football and help the youths to grow in the round leather game just to further confirm his football first campaign.

He said his 'Football First’ campaign is not dead.

“Youth development is part of my DNA and I will not turn my being away from that".
