Edel Football Club Of Anambra To Replace Nnewi United In The NNL

Arrangement has been concluded by the management of Edel Football Club, Anambra State to acquire Nnewi United football Club.

According to the report from Nnewi United, the official change of ownership has been done and endorsed by the Anambra FA while also transmitting the same to NNL Secretariat in Abuja.

The owner of Edel Football Club is Mr. Jude Edeh, a Netherlands based business man.

The club has also relocated to Awka City Stadium from Rojenny Stadium in Oba, Anambra State.

The club has re-engaged former coach, Benjamin Okaro as the new Technical Adviser of the club.

Japan Invitational Tournament: Future Eagles to reopen camp in Abuja with 25 players The Future Eagles will resume camping in Abuja on Friday (19/05/2023) ahead of the Dream Cup invitational tournament in Japan. Coach Haruna Ilerika has already extended invitations to 25 players ahead of the tournament. All the invited players have been told to report at the Serob Hotel, Abuja.
