It was a bit too late for the D'tigers of Nigeria to turn things around against Angola as the team lost narrowly to the host nation.

An outstanding performance from a team that was already written off even before the start of the series.

The D'Tigers didn't offer to lose the game, they only ran out of time to turn things around against a team with huge home support and resources.

Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com monitored the game and the team matched their opponent through the first half but lost grip in the 3rd quarter.

The revival started in the 4th quarter when the boys gave their opponent a run for their money but the fire power wasn't enough.

Kudos to the Nigerian side for cutting down the 20 points margin to 6 points in a commendable effort.

Nigeria's D'tigers will now wait for other clarification results from FIBA.
