NFF: Please Don't Use Fifa Money For Other Projects Or Purposes, Says Galaxy Sports Boss

The Executive Chairman/CEO Galaxy Sports Development China and Galaxy Sports Academy Nigeria, Mr Austin Akpehe has said he doesn't expect the FIFA Forward project funds to be used for other projects or purposes other than what is meant for.

The international football administrator said FIFA forward programs are projects that are supposed to save communities and cause a revival of businesses in those specified areas and far off.

"The FIFA Goal project in Anambra is also there. I was there when I came from France on my way to China, sometime in 2015".

"I went to inspect the facility for a football project Anambra State wanted to venture into at that point.

I was taken to the FIFA Goal Project first and it was a total disappointment".

Mr Akpehe opinionated that people have to be worried, especially when the initiators of such projects tend to be silent.

"I would like to state that, it is also very easy to show photographs of how the work was and how it is today. It helps explain to the public so much. Except you currently don't have what to tell them".

"Even when we are told that it is what is happening, we try to investigate on our own too".
