Nigeria: Kada Stars And Kada Queens Risks International Ban

Nigeria Hockey Champions Kada Stars and their Kaduna State Sister Club, Kada Queens, risks being banned for two years from all national and international competitions for failing to compete at the ongoing 2023 edition of the African Cup for Clubs.

It was a case of walkover against Nigerian Hockey Champions Kada Stars and their Kaduna State Sister Club, Kada Queens as both teams failed to feature at the African Hockey Federation, AHF, sanctioned competition due to issues relating to finances.

The unavailability of the teams meant 2022 Nigerian Women’s Champion, Delta Queens walked over their compatriots, Kada Queens.

Nigerian teams placed fourth at the last edition in Accra, Ghana.
