Only MRI Can Stop Golden Eaglets From Rulling The World Cup, Says Manu Garba

Former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles coach, Mallam Manu Garba has expressed confidence in the ability of the Golden Eaglets to rule the world once again. 



The two time world under 17 winner and CHAN Under20 winning champ said the current U17 national team is doing well in terms of preparation and the team will succeed at the Afcon U17 championship that is coming up in April with Nigeria group along side Zambia, South Africa and Senegal.


"We will be the cynosure of all eye at championship and I believe we can pick a world cup ticket from there".


Coach Garba stressed that opponents in the group have very good youth development and are all capable of making it from the group but Nigeria is a power house in youth football especially at U17 level.


"As we are still rank No 1 in the world having won the FIFA U17 World cup on five occasions so no team will underrate us".


However the multiple award winning coach expresses concern over the fate of talented players after MRI results. 


"I must say that if most of the good players in camp pass the mandatory MRI test and we prepare adequately and the team is motivated Nigeria will qualify for the world cup".
