Erudite football administrator, Mr Ayodele Thomas has blamed the nation's football league operators for not always adhering to their own rules.
He stressed that the inability of league operators to follow their own rules on club licensing has become the major problem that has impeded on the growth of the game.
"One of the big elephants in the room is the LMC/IMC Indemnity Form given to players by clubs to sign".
"However, the failure of the league management company to follow their own rules on club licensing is the major problem".
Ayodele Thomas, who is the CEO of TopPro Management stated further that if the club licensing procedure is being operated and followed up to the latter then some clubs may not survive.
"I have had interactions with some officials, who said that if they have to implement the rules to the letter, half of the clubs in the leagues won't qualify for registration".
He buttressed that the Western world football is better organised because licensing rules are followed religiously.

He said Nigerian league operators are just playing lip service to their own rules without any hope of implementing it.
