Stakeholders Call For Immediate Cancellation of National Sports Festival

Sports stakeholders have called on the minister of sports, Chief Sunday Dare to immediately cancel the crisis ridden National Sports Festival .

According to the genuine stakeholders, the recent disgraceful padding of medal table of the last NSF is an affront to truncate the efforts of the nation's game master.

They said ministry did not shed light on states or persons allegedly responsible for the medal padding, or punishments for them, despite earlier protests.

Sports administrator Shuaib Ahmed, insisted that the ministry must make public sanctions for those found guilty.

“The ministry should apportion sanctions for those who padded the medals including some of the organisers of the game. They must tell us exactly how they plan to punish those involved.”
