Nigeria Wheelchair Tennis female players on Saturday picked the World Cup tickets ahead of their Moroccan counterparts in the encounter decided at the MKO stadium in Abuja.
Nigeria's female number one Wheelchair Tennis player, Kafayat Omisore said she happy and glad for qualifying for the world cup for the very first time.
"We are going straight to Portugal. We are grateful for all those that made it possible".
Chitura Nwaozuzu set the ball rolling by beating her opponent Samira Benmchi effortless at 6/3 6/4 while her partner and Nigeria's number one Kafayat Omisore defeated Morocco's top seed Najuna Awane in the rubber 6/1, 6/4, 6/3 to set eyes at Portugal.
After securing the world cup ticket, Omisore called on Nigerians to rally round the team to enable it make impact at the World Cup.
"We need all the help we can gather to make it at the world cup, Wheelchair Tennis is not easy because it's a special sport for physically challenged athletes".
