Ondo State Football Association Chairman, Otunba Sunday Ajayi has said the appointment of a new acting vice chairman followed due process.
Otunba Ajayi stated this to Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com while reacting to media reports on allegations trailing the emergence of the new vice chairman.
According to the executive board member of the Nigeria Football Federation, the appointment of Mr Gabriel Aborowa was agreed upon as a substitute in a letter addressed to the FA board by the outgoing vice chairman, Barrister Aderemi Adetula.
"You can read the letter above as signed by the Vice Chairman elected himself"
He described the allegation directed at him as not being factual while also warning the author of the publication not to join forces with the allegation peddlers.
"Don't let any person use you again against me Akin because all will lead to failure again"
He assumed that he knew where the allegation was coming from.
"I know where your write up is coming from"
Meanwhile Otunba Sunday Ajayi has not stated why he refused to carry the board and the congress along before approving a new vice chairman
