BAL 2023: Stop Wasting Your Time, Former NBBF Table Official Tells Kwara Falcons

The Nigerian representative to this year’s Basketball African League (BAL) Kwara Falcons Basketball team has become the weeping boys of the Sahara Conference of the league.


Kwara Falcons were beaten in two games and languishing second from bottom of the log with little or no hope of making it out of the group stage.



Former Table Official and league director of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Ajibarede Bello has told the players and officials of Kwara Falcons to stop deceiving themselves because the team didn't prepare well enough for the most lucrative Basketball league in Africa. 


"Kwara Falcons under performing at BAL because they are match rusty"


Ajibarede blamed their unde performance on absence of a functional league to get the team into a competitive spirit.


"No league or top flight competition! The team is just not ready"


He also blamed the Nigeria Basketball Federation(NBBF) for playing lip service to the development of the game domestically.


"The federation is only interested in the American story". Ajibarede Bello stated.
