Catastrophe Looms in Lobi FC As Stakeholders Are Unhappy With Iofa's High Handedness

All is not well at the camp of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi despite the team's impeccable start to the season.

The executive Vice Chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club, Dominic Iofa is about to derail the progress of the club if the allegation against him is anything to go by.

Iofa assumed duty with an agenda to reposition the Benue football club and return it to its glory days in both national and international cup competitions. However, this may likely hit the rocks by his alleged highhandedness.

Some officials of the football club indeed expected Iofa to perform in this vein however he is being accused of some recklessness that may threaten the team's aspiration this term, if unchecked.

An inside source said there could be deeper sleaze connecting Dominic Iofa to all these issues.

According to our source who made this Insubstantiated claims without evidence stated that Iofa became a tyrant immediately after he was reinstalled as Lobi vice chairman.

"If you know the things he has been doing to the club, you will be shocked".

Our source called on stakeholders to wade in to avoid what he describe as a

looming catastrophe in the club.

"He is using power or authority without considering the feelings of others".

Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com reached out to Dominic Iofa via phone calls and he denied all the allegations stating that it is perpetuated by those who are hell bent in sabotaging his efforts.

"Lobi Stars are comfortably doing well in the league and this is not the time they should distract us so I don't know where these allegations are coming from".

"Ordinarily I wouldn't have responded to these allegations but I am a person that wants to clear my conscience,I don't understand the bases of these allegations and I want to know the source".

"When somebody says I am reckless, that is the reason why I am asking you because I want to know where these allegations are coming from".

  1. Well, I think a lot of people misunderstand Iorfa! I was one of them. But I can feel his work. Some people around him never told truth and some usually lied to him regarding the true circumstances of certain things! We all have different stories anyway!

States Football Associations Should Adopt the Ekiti FA Model - Dr. Babatunde 'Tee' Akinbinu

Akinkunle Bolarinwa  Executive Board Member of the Ondo State Football Association, Dr. Babatunde 'Tee' Akinbinu has advised State Football Associations Chairmen in Nigeria to borrow the template for football development exemplified by Ekiti State Football Association in the last three and half years. "The reason why Ekiti State FA works and looks so beautiful is because Mr Bayo Lanlege the Ekiti FA chairman threw his hat in the ring and is leading from the front on matters of football development in Ekiti State without any subvention funding from the Government of Ekiti State." The sagacious Sports Physician asserts that Nigeria needs pragmatic leadership to lead the new path for football development.  "It is a huge irony that I am in Ondo and he is in Ekiti, really. If we had 30 State FA Chairmen in Nigeria like Mr Lanlege of the Ekiti State FA, out of the 37 State FA Chairmen we have in Nigeria, we would NOT be talking about bad governance in football admini...
