*Dominic Iorfa proves to be better than the stakeholders that failed to leave any legacy in the form of structures while they served in the same position*

Football aficionado Austin Akpehe has reacted strongly to the unsubstantiated rumour peddled against the Chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Mr Dominic Iofa.

Super administrator says it is unfair to start judging a man that is successful on and off the pitch.

Speaking exclusively with Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com the Executive Chairman Galaxy Sports Development China and Galaxy Sports Academy Nigeria believes Dominic Iofa is still the best manager around.

The following were the exact words of Mr Austin Akpehe on how the Lobi Stars Supremo was misjudged by a few.

Well, stories always have two sides. When you don't hear the stories from the main source, you tend to not get the truth. As compared with several of the persons that have come on board as Chairmen of Lobi Stars FC, he is better than them all!

I am speaking from a neutral standpoint. I know all the immediate past Chairmen of Lobi Stars FC and he still proves to be the best among them all.

I wouldn't state shocking facts here but even if you want to talk about the human aspect of it, he is still better than my other friends that left this position not long ago.

Those guys don't want anything on ground that would help Lobi Stars in the future. That means, they were only feeding their tommies and hoping to stay on the job for as long as they could. Dominic Iorfa is laying down structures again and has given the team a better face than what was there before now.

I know if he qualifies to play in the continent next season, which I pray he does, he would also go an extra mile to sort out foreign partners that would reliably work with Lobi Stars FC.

He is doing the right thing and things are working for him and the club and it would be a shame to allow distractions to try to set in at this point.

Personally, I've not seen Lobi Stats come out in the manner they've done when he started the season with them.

Benue State is a special state that never honours its prophets and I can't hide it. They despise their fellow brothers and can do anything possible to bring their people down. But Iorfa is doing well with Lobi Stars and what he's done in this little while is amazing to me.

He has his egos, there's no doubt about that and everyone has his. But he is way above my other friends that have passed through that same position. They try to sit with you when they are out of that position and never pick up your calls when they climb into that seat.

Let's pray Lobi Stars continues the second round similarly the way they did the first round taking each game at a time and letting the facilities he has been able to gather all to develop and be able to stand strong, then he would have continued creating his legacy. The others came on board hating even players that come from that state with an incredible passion but he has put an end to that and pushed for facilities that would take the club very far in the years to come.

Let's be realistic. The guy Iorfa is passionate about the game and he is in almost every game the club plays. That's top. I don't think several NPFL club chairmen can do the same. They always have several other things to say when their clubs play on weekends but only show up when there is money to share.

Can't you see how he has structured the club now? The management and technical crew have their roles and must be available at each game. Formerly, it wasn't that way in the club. Guys were employed but were virtually doing nothing but collecting huge wages. He has been able to make everyone around work for the club and many feel relevant now.

Finally, if the Benue State government would be able to also lift the financial state of this club, then the club would be able to return to its old glories.

Let's stand for truth!

States Football Associations Should Adopt the Ekiti FA Model - Dr. Babatunde 'Tee' Akinbinu

Akinkunle Bolarinwa  Executive Board Member of the Ondo State Football Association, Dr. Babatunde 'Tee' Akinbinu has advised State Football Associations Chairmen in Nigeria to borrow the template for football development exemplified by Ekiti State Football Association in the last three and half years. "The reason why Ekiti State FA works and looks so beautiful is because Mr Bayo Lanlege the Ekiti FA chairman threw his hat in the ring and is leading from the front on matters of football development in Ekiti State without any subvention funding from the Government of Ekiti State." The sagacious Sports Physician asserts that Nigeria needs pragmatic leadership to lead the new path for football development.  "It is a huge irony that I am in Ondo and he is in Ekiti, really. If we had 30 State FA Chairmen in Nigeria like Mr Lanlege of the Ekiti State FA, out of the 37 State FA Chairmen we have in Nigeria, we would NOT be talking about bad governance in football admini...
