The State FA has been positive about its mandate to organise a seamless free and fair election.

The FA told Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com that it has reeled out the guidelines for its polls scheduled for March 7th.

The election will see delegates from various sections of the football councils converge at various venues in the sixteen local governments to choose a new Chairman, Vice Chairman and two ordinary members.

Delegates representing the Players Union, Coaches Association, Supporters Club, Referee Society, Club Owners, Primary School Coordinators, Secondary School Coordinators, Head of Women’s Football alongside the current LFC Executive Committee Chairmen are expected to cast their votes in the polls.

The election guidelines read in part: “All delegates must belong to the member/affiliates that they represent and be appointed or elected by the appropriate body of that member/affiliate. They must also be able to produce evidence of this on request.”

The electoral committee for the polls expects candidates to submit interest forms on or before 4pm on 28th February, 2023. Per the guidelines, completed forms submitted after the stated time and date shall be stale and rejected.

For appeals, the State FA Appeal/Arbitration committee will hear matters brought before it and deliver judgement within seven days from the date of the receipts of appeals.

NPFL - STARTIMES DEAL: MALLAM SHUAIBU GARA GOMBE MISLEADING THE SPORTS INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA

NPFL - STARTIMES DEAL: MALLAM SHUAIBU GARA GOMBE MISLEADING THE SPORTS INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA My attention is seriously drawn to the fact that Mallam Gara Gombe clearly shows in his recent submission to the Guardian that he has ill interests and it isn't only about fighting for the interest of local football but also trying to show that he deserves to be the one leading Nigerian football through his open statements against the NPFL leadership he referred to as illegitimate in one of his recent releases. Remember, "what is good for the goose is also good for the garner." It is a fact he desires to get to the top of football leadership in Nigeria and he might feel at this point he alone has the monopoly of football administrative knowledge. Wouldn't you expect others to deliberately begin to employ similar tactics to topple your leadership too?  Gara Gombe said; quote: "Because Nigeria is a dumping ground you illegally appoint people to manage a league they know nothi...
