How Ghana Truncated Nigeria's Gymnastics Athletes All-Africa Games Dream

With the All African Games postponed till next year in Ghana, the Nigerian Gymnastics team have no hope of participating.

The Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria (GFN) says arrangements were made to ensure its athletes participate in the 2024 Olympics in France, since Gymnastics is no longer part of the All African Games roster.

Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com reports that Ghana is not affiliated to the International Gymnastics Federation and can not host an event that the nation is not a registered member.

Secretary-General of the federation, Davies Oludare, said he regretted that the African Games scheduled to be hosted by Ghana would not be a platform for Gymnastics Olympics qualification.
