Marcelo Ayanwu aspired to become the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) during the last elective congress of the football house.
He was however not cleared to contest from his home town in Imo State due to intrigues beyond his imaginations.
Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com can report that the UAE based certified coach was said to have lost over 3 million Naira to fraudsters during the NFF election congress in Edo state.
Ayanwu fell into the hands of fraudulent people that promised to canvas and solicit votes for him through one imaginary leader in Jos and Kano.
It was said that the Division 2 coach in UAE transferred funds in trenches to these unknown canvassers and got nothing before his disqualification from his zone.
Marcelo is not happy that his state (Imo) betrayed him and with the fact he lost his money without even making it to the election venue.
Since he was disenfranchised and disgraced by some power that be in the football fraternity, Marcelo has distanced himself from Nigeria's football politics.
