Akinkunle Bolarinwa

Former Delta State Football Association Chairman, Edema Fuludu has hit hard on those accusing him of being a stooge to the immediate past president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick.

According to Edema Fuludu, such insinuation is a fragment of some people's imagination and a recipee for illusion

"Hahahah Stooge? Amaju may have been the leader and it's by God's grace not his power".

The ex- International posited that he is Amaju' senior both in age and in academics.

"I am senior to him in age and left university before he got admission to the same UNIBEN.

Edema says he is not a novice in the business of business in Nigeria.

"I have a name in Nigeria football by God's grace not because of association with anybody".

He stated further that the former NFF Boss did not contribute to his elevation in football administration.

"Where did he help me rise to? People assume a lot".

He stated in clear terms that he had the capacity to lead long before he met Amaju Pinnick.

"He knew I had capacity, he knew I could talk to him directly without an iota of capitulation but gave him respect for his position".

States Football Associations Should Adopt the Ekiti FA Model - Dr. Babatunde 'Tee' Akinbinu

Akinkunle Bolarinwa  Executive Board Member of the Ondo State Football Association, Dr. Babatunde 'Tee' Akinbinu has advised State Football Associations Chairmen in Nigeria to borrow the template for football development exemplified by Ekiti State Football Association in the last three and half years. "The reason why Ekiti State FA works and looks so beautiful is because Mr Bayo Lanlege the Ekiti FA chairman threw his hat in the ring and is leading from the front on matters of football development in Ekiti State without any subvention funding from the Government of Ekiti State." The sagacious Sports Physician asserts that Nigeria needs pragmatic leadership to lead the new path for football development.  "It is a huge irony that I am in Ondo and he is in Ekiti, really. If we had 30 State FA Chairmen in Nigeria like Mr Lanlege of the Ekiti State FA, out of the 37 State FA Chairmen we have in Nigeria, we would NOT be talking about bad governance in football admini...
