He was dominant all through the game as Nigeria picked up a deserving third place podium finish over the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in a thrilling third place game.


Jude Sunday scored twice in the second half to write his name in Gold and earned an accolade for himself. 


He was awarded the man of the match as the Flying Eagles triumph over the "lesser Eagles".


Jude Sunday stated that he was very much surprised scooping the award.


"I am very surprised getting this award because all of us put our efforts to it"


"I dedicate this award to all my teammates and the coaching crew too".


Nigeria mauled the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia 4-0 in the Loser's game.
