The Niger Tornadoes coach who many believe to have gone to rescue his team before they crashed out of the Niger State FA cup is now playing a new tune.
According to him, he took permission to attend to an urgent matter.
"Last week when they submitted our international passport since they collected it from us at Ibadan, I discovered that mine has expired and I didn't know so I have to take permission to go and renew it".
He described the allegation of him abandoning the national team as false and uncomplimentary.
"It is not professional just some people to spoil other people in order to pave the way for their job".
Nigeria’s U23 boys, Olympic Eagles, is set to host their Guinean counterparts at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Wednesday, 22nd March, in the final round of qualifiers for this year’s Africa U23 Cup of Nations.
