I Want to raise the profile of African players in UAE. -Steven Taylor

 


The technical Adviser of Gulf united football club Dubai, Steven Taylor has made it clear that his mission in UAE and Middle East is to raise the profile of African players and move them to Europe for next level.


The ex-Newcastle defender who led Gulf united Of Dubai back - back in UAEFA division three league 2021/2022 season and UAEFA division two league 2022 /2023 championship is of the opinion that African players deserve a platform to excel.




I opted for 60% Africans in during our 3rd /2rd division campaign in Gulf united , I have Marcello Anyanwu my  African assistant coach who is passionate about African players  like myself and we had been working together, 

The former England under player said he wants to give African lads a chance to be in the World football map. I always go for the best young African players, they have never disappointed, they always shine. They have been doing well. 




The English Tutor stated that next season his objective will be to  get some African players in his team from Nigeria, Ghana, Morroco, Cameroon, Senegal and Congo DR , Create a pathway to move them to next level.



Steven Vincent Taylor who played alongside with 

Tiote, Cisse, Demba, Amdy Faye, Abdullah Faye, Celestine Babayaro, Obafemi Martins, and Geremi in Newcastle United of England strongly believes that African deserves an opportunity to show their talents and do well 


"For me it's all about the African having a chance to move and winning games, says Taylor Who has moved three African players from Gulf united to bigger clubs in Middle East and Europe"
