Despite scoring 22 goals in 25 games last season in the Swedish professional Women's Football League, it seems the coach of Super Falcons (Randy Waldrum)
is not interested in getting the gangling striker, Evelyn Ijeh to solve the team's impotent attacking problem.
Speaking exclusively to Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com the beautiful Evelyn Ijeh stated that her chances of returning to the Super Falcons team after one invitational call up is getting narrower.
"I am always available but now it is getting more narrow to play for the Super Falcons due to the opportunities available before me".
The Daughter of former Super Eagles striker, Peter Ijeh said the Super
Falcons coach (Randy Waldrum) hasn't called her or had any form of communications with her since he became the Nigerian coach.
Reacting to questions on the extension of invitation after her debut for the most populous Black nation,"No he hasn't called and there’s no communication of such".
The Swedish Football Association has recently invited the Nigerian born striker to their women's national team.
She is looking forward to playing for Nigeria at the forthcoming FIFA Women's World Cup despite the invitation from the Swedish FA.
"Yes I am still expecting to hear from Nigeria and that’s why I obliged to the Austria invite with the Super Falcons then"
She believes Nigeria can do well at the FIFA Women's World Cup despite winning one game out of 8 in the last two years.
"Winning 1 game out of 8 games may not be that impressive a result .. I believe with the time left before the World Cup, adjustments will be made in the team".
She elucidated on what Nigeria needed to do to improve the quality of the national team.
"We need to get the players in camp on time and invite players that will bring input to the team".
