NFF Will Never Tell Super Eagles Players What We Can Not Offer Them - Says Gusau

With less than 24 hours to the most important AFCON Qualifying match against Guinea Bissau in Abuja, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau has stated in clear terms that he will never tell the Super Eagles players what the nation's football governing body can't do for them.

Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com can report that Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau made this statement while addressing the players for the first time since September last year.

"I, as the president of the NFF will never sit with you and tell you what we can not do for you but what whatever I know that is good for you is what I will tell you"

He stated further that there is no point for the NFF to tell the nation's football ambassadors lies.

"Whatever I know that is possible for us is what I will tell you and whatever we can not no do, then we sit and agree because all of us are looking for success and the success of our country so there is no point to come and tell you lies tomorrow or next tomorrow"

He concluded by praising the players for their understanding while also charging them to work as a team.

"I thank you guys for your understanding because we are working as a team, if anything happens to us it is between you people and myself ".
