Osimhen Could Be Out For A Week Due Muscle Injury

Super Eagles and Napoli star striker Victor Osimhen could be out for a week due to minor muscle injury.

According to a report in the news media, Victor Osimhen is carrying a muscle injury after returning from International duty with Nigeria.

Napoli says he will be assessed ahead of Sunday's league match with Milan in Naples.

The "Maradonas" are 19 points clear of 2nd place Lazio in Serie A with 11 games to go.

Osimhen hopes to be back in action not later than a week if he speeds up his recovery.

Though it was said that he won't be available to play until Champions League match day.

He had the muscle Injury he was nursing before the International break, so the medics advised him to rest ahead of the UCL.

Osimhen played with pain for Nigeria, he was supposed to miss the second game but he played with it.
