Senegal Finally Have AFCON U20 Title For The First Time

Senegal dispatched Gambia by two goals to nil on Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations under 20 final to bring to a thrilling conclusion the junior edition of the biennial continental competition.

The Junior Lions were very comfortable all through the game schooling the little Scorpions how to play the game.

In victory, the Junior Teranga Lions became the newly crowned champions to conquer the continent, finally drawing a line of many years of regret since nearly getting close to the trophy.

Senegal dominated all competitions in the continent having won the Senior AFCON and the CHAN championships, the under 20 triumph is their first and addition to the collections.

Senegal had previously lost

the finals of the AFCON under 20 championships three times.

With impeccable records and undefeated in sux games with no goal conceded, the Senegalese are worthy champions of AFCON U20.
