Sunday Dare In Maldives For Sports Awards, Abba Yola, Kanu Nwakwu And Others On The Entourage

Honourable minister of youth and sports development, Chief Sunday Dare touched down in the Maldives today for the second edition of the Maldives Sports Awards.

Honourable Sunday Dare is being recognised for the work carried out for the development of sports in Nigeria and Africa.

It is a special recognition award to be conferred on Chief Sunday Dare.

Maldives Minister of Sports received the Honourable Ministers of youth and sports development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Sunday Dare alongside former Super Eagles player, Kanu Nwanko and others at the Maldives Airport this morning.

On the entourage of the Honourable minister is His Chief Of Staff, Alhaji Abba Yola , Director FEAD in the Ministry of Sports, Dr Simeon Ebhojaiye and the Senior Assistant on Sports to the Honourable Minister of Sports Mary Onyali.

Maldives President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, sports ministers, world renowned athletes and Maldives athletes will all be at the ceremony.

Japan Invitational Tournament: Future Eagles to reopen camp in Abuja with 25 players The Future Eagles will resume camping in Abuja on Friday (19/05/2023) ahead of the Dream Cup invitational tournament in Japan. Coach Haruna Ilerika has already extended invitations to 25 players ahead of the tournament. All the invited players have been told to report at the Serob Hotel, Abuja. Ilerika's boys are among the four teams that will participate at the tournament in Japan. The other three are Japan, Netherlands and the USA. The tournament starts on the 31th of May 2023.
