Taraba State FA Cup In Crisis

All is not well in the Taraba State Football Association

football polity as some unauthorised persons who attempted to stage an FA Cup game were booted out of the prestigious Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo, Taraba State.

According to the accounts made available to Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com the unauthorised FA Cup was alleged to have been approved by the factional leader of the FA.

The authority in charge of the Jolly Nyame Stadium confirmed that no approval was given to any football organisers to use the government's facility hence the reason why the facility wasn't given out to the fictional groups.

The Jolly Nyame football Stadium has been the traditional host of the FA Cup competitions but the venue was listed for an FA Cup without the consent and approval of the State commissioner of sports.

It was established that the state commissioner of sports wasn't aware of any FA Cup competition happening in the state.

However the Taraba State Football Stakeholders has called on football authority in Nigeria to stop imposing an impostor on them.

The group stated that there is only one legitimate FA Chairman in the state and he is known as Mallam Mahmud Sanusi Mohammed.
