Captain of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria Daniel Bamaiyi disclosed that the players did their best at the just concluded AFCON U20 tournament in Egypt but the outcome wasn't the team's choice.
"The result is not what we bargain for but that is football and we live to make amends".
He said the team has a bigger task ahead in Indonesia when the World Cup kicks-starts in a few months time.
"Indonesia is our target and that is where we want to be hosted and celebrated".
Bamaiyi assures Nigerians that the team will deliver at the World Cup in Indonesia.
"We want to thank Nigerians for their support and by the grace of God we shall deliver in Indonesia".
Speaking at the reception held for the team in Abuja, Bamaiyi praised
the Honourable sports Minister, Chief Sunday Dare for all the support given to the team.
