Thieves Caught On Camera Vandalising Banners At Abuja Stadium During AFCON Qualifier

Some men were caught in the mischievous act of vandalising facilities in broad daylight when they were captured stealing banners placed at the top floor of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

The incident happened during the game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the victorious Guinea Bissau senior national football team.

Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com camera was in action and captured the stealing on pictures and on video.

It took the men a few minutes to target and steal the banners placed for promotion of the sponsors of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and Nigerian football in general.

These gang of looters carried out these shameful activity without being accosted by any security organisation.

Effort to report to the incident to the security agencies at the stadium proved abortive as they seemed to be busy attending to guests in the VIP section of the pavillion.

It is hoped that this kind of unwholesome event would not repeat itself anymore.

Japan Invitational Tournament: Future Eagles to reopen camp in Abuja with 25 players The Future Eagles will resume camping in Abuja on Friday (19/05/2023) ahead of the Dream Cup invitational tournament in Japan. Coach Haruna Ilerika has already extended invitations to 25 players ahead of the tournament. All the invited players have been told to report at the Serob Hotel, Abuja.
