You Risk Jail Time Parading Yourself As FA Chairman - Mahmud Sanusi Mohammed Warns NFF Board member

As the supremacy battle in Taraba Football Association lingers on, the Mahmud Sanusi Mohammed led faction has come out with strong words, denouncing Timothy Helman as the Chairman of the FA and threatening him with jail time.

In an exclusive interview with the Apexmedia2020.blogspot.com Mahmud Sanusi Mohammed a board member of the Taraba State Football Association said the continous claim by Timothy Helman as the Chairman of Taraba state football body is a continuation of plans to sustain mayhem in the Taraba's football constituency which was evident in his recent activities.

”Our attention has been drawn to another set of garbage and tissues of lies put together by the discredited Timothy Helman

wherein, he tried to sustain its illegal claim to the leadership of Taraba FA".

"There is a court matter and soon after the judgement, Timothy Helman filed a stay of execution concerning the judgement and our lawyers argued it and we are still waiting for the ruling on the matter.

The erudite football administrator cited that the embattled Timothy is using the stay of execution to buy time on his imminent departure to oblivion.

"As it stands now concerning the judgement, Timothy is just using the stay of execution to buy time ahead of the final adjudication on the matter"

He said by law, Timothy is not the FA Chairman because the law has established the facts behind it.

"Even right now, the Federation Cup he is organising in Taraba, if not for the National politics going on and because we don't want to do anything wrong, we are trading in the path of peace or else we would have use our opportunity to stop any matches going on there since we are not the one organising it but we are trading the path of peace because it was a sensitive period because of the national elections.

Mohammed stressed that it is really devastating for stakeholders and football followers for Timothy to be harrogating too much powers and importance to himself

“First and foremost, we wish to state categorically that in consonance with the pronouncement of the Courts meeting, which Timothy Helman and his team of confused travellers have not bothered to appeal, Timothy is not our Chairman and we forbid him in totality.

He stated further that the consistent claim to the office by Mr Helman is a continuation of his plans to sustain mayhem in Taraba's Football, but nature and fair justice have taken care of his desperation.

“It is instructive to know that the court has spoken, and the pronouncements are binding. However, those who wish to support him and spend the rest of their lives behind prison bars may continue to utter heresy against the Court".
