Barrister Seyi Akinwumi becomes Western Nigeria Football Forum chairman





Barrister Seyi Akinwumi becomes Western Nigeria Football Forum chairman and he is being given the mandate to reorganize the forum of the western Nigeria Football.


The forum of all the South West States Football Associations under the aegis of the Western Nigeria Football Forum (WNFF) has unanimously picked former NFF 1st Vice President and the current Lagos state FA Chairman Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi as the chairman of the body and the Western Nigeria Football Forum (WNFF)

 

This information was confirmed by the Ekiti State FA Chairman Bayo Olanlege through a post on a popular WhatsApp group Nigeria Sports Support Platform (NSSP) on Tuesday


In a related development, The Ogun State FA Chairman Alh. Ganiyu Majekodunmi has also become the Zonal Coordinator of the South West State FAs


The Western Nigeria Football Forum comprises the six South-western states of Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, and Lagos states and their primary responsibility is aimed at developing football in the region


The Forum organised the maiden Western Nigeria Football Union Taiwo Ogunjobi U-15 Championship’s Award Night held at Osogbo in 2022 in honour of the former NFA Scribe Late Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi.

Japan Invitational Tournament: Future Eagles to reopen camp in Abuja with 25 players The Future Eagles will resume camping in Abuja on Friday (19/05/2023) ahead of the Dream Cup invitational tournament in Japan. Coach Haruna Ilerika has already extended invitations to 25 players ahead of the tournament. All the invited players have been told to report at the Serob Hotel, Abuja.
