Air Warriors of Abuja, Plateau Rocks of Jos and Nigeria Customs of Abuja started the final phase of the Savannah Conference play-offs in Lafia the capital of Nasarawa State, North Central, Nigeria on a winning noted.

Air warriors of Abuja recorded a 22 points margin victory over Nigerian Army Basketball Club. 61 - 39 was the final result of the game.

Home ladies, Nassarawa Amazon came close in winning their Match Day 1 encounter against Plateau Rocks but fell short by two points. 61 - 59 it ended in favour of Plateau Rocks.
