The two bodies in separate statements issued ahead of the birthday celebration of a scion of the Okumagba family in Delta State, the Secretary General of the SESC, Francis Aguh urged the Super Eagles to record a huge win in their World Cup qualifiers match against Lesotho as a birthday gift to the Prince Vincent Okumagba that had done so much in supporting the Nigerian national teams over the years.

Speaking in same vein, the IPMAN, Lagos Secretary Akeem Balogun in a congratulatory letter issued ahead of the Prince Okumagba’s birthday, he appealed to Eagles to gift the MD/CEO of Pixal Petroleum Limited, who is a good member of the IPMAN, Lagos Satellite Depot Ejigbo that his birthday coincided with the World Cup qualifiers matchday a good victory.

In the letter reads in part: “Prince Okumagba played an active role in the harmonisation of the two factions in our unit in 2015 to form a united executive, devoid of any form of crisis to date, in fact, or unit is one of the few units in the country devoid of any form of parallel executives because of the efforts in 2015 of which Okumagba played a key role as vice Chairman of one of the factions that signed the MOU of harmonisation of the Executives into one unit.”

“Also as President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club of Nigeria, has helped most of our members by introducing them to the supporters club and ensuring that they follow National Teams to various destinations around the world.”

Akinkunle Bolarinwa  Executive Board Member of the Ondo State Football Association, Dr. Babatunde 'Tee' Akinbinu has advised State Football Associations Chairmen in Nigeria to borrow the template for football development exemplified by Ekiti State Football Association in the last three and half years. The sagacious Sports Physician asserts that Nigeria needs pragmatic leadership to lead the new path for football development.  "It is a huge irony that I am in Ondo and he is in Ekiti, really.
